It is now possible to “split” an audio file, i.e. allocate different parts of it to more than one transcriber in order to complete it more quickly. Details in the user manual in the section File Splitting.

It is now possible to for administrators to download files as soon as they been uploaded to ScribeManager, rather than having to wait for them to finish converting to mp3.

An uploaded file became stuck mid-conversion as the file size was not available. The upload code has been adjusted to ensure that in the event of a recurrence, the file will still process.
